Hey Guys,
I installed Windows 7 x64 today and when i opened the system information tool, it shows 3.25GB usable.
So, i checked with task manager and it shows the same 3326(3.25) to my surprise.
How is this possible on a x64 OS?
Memory mapping is on 32 bit if i am not wrong...

Folks, I have a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600 TV tuner. For some reason I can't see live TV on Media Center. It was giving me an error like about PlayReady and I installed PlayReady 1.0 and then 1.2. What it does is, it hangs when downloading TV setup data, guide info etc. The progress bar moves only...
I did a clean install with W7, the Hauppage card was recognized, and the drivers installed ok. Unfortunately, the TV application starts, but won't actually perform. I can close the application normally, so not a crash. It did work fine with Vista. When using Media Center, it says that...
Hi all
Pinnacle PCTV 320CX pci express card analog / digital TV card works absolutely 100% fine on W7. I'm glad this works as it saves using a USB slot on the laptop. The composite Video (you can feed it Audio / Video from Sat receiver etc) also works fine.
I wasn't sure about Laptop Pci...
I have a PCI-X Hauppauge 1800 MCE which works awesome in Vista 64. I run Windows Beta 7 build 7000 with the same hardware and it works... but there's pretty significant distortion and interference lines on the image in Beta 7 media center. I figure its a driver problem or something that has...

Hi there
Can't get the Terrestial Digital channels to work on W7 (both X-64 / x-32). Works fine in Vista X-64.
The card is a "hybrid" type which has both a traditional Analog and a Terrestial Digital TV receiver in it. After scanning the Analog channels (does this Ok -- In UK get BBC1, BBC2...

Was wondering if anyone has the tuner and has a work around or driver for it. I had this same issue when I went to Vista 64 bit. I am researching GP-PVR as an option, and just not use WMC. I would love to be able to watch/record tv on this system, with the amount of RAM I have, 64 bit is...
