I have been unable to setup my networked printer from my windows 7x64 pc to my vista32 laptop. The printer works on Windows 7, the pc it is attached to.
I sarted with sharing in windows 7. I can see it from vista, but when I try and install it as network printer is where the trouble starts.

I have an unusual situation. On a clean boot my ATI Remote Wonder works just fine, BUT alfter about 10 minutes, it stops working for some reason and without notice. It is like the transmitter just got pulled out of the USB. A reboot fixes the problem and again 10 minutes later, same thing.
Any...

I have to say, I'm loving Windows 7 Ultimate, I've never gotten such a smooth upgrade first on my machine, and then an equally smooth and event free clean install on my wife's machine. Microsoft finally got it right. Homegroup is probably the greatest thing to ever hit windows since the...

I've got a quite old Joystick (Njoytech) and it is detected with no problems by my Win 7.
The thing is that I just bought a new wireless Gamepad (Fujitel), and when connected, a message appears basically saying that windows cannot recognize the device, naming it as "unknown device", is there...
I have been running beta and RC versions of Windows 7 x64 for about 9 months now.
A few weeks ago, I needed to run a seperate copy of Win7 on the same machine so I decided to take the VHD route. I.e. booting directly into a VHD. The means to do this were well documented by Aviraj Ajgekar's...
Hi all,
I'd like to know how to really shut down a USB peripherial when I press eject. When you do this on Windows XP, your hardrive for instance will power down, whereas it stays on with Windows Seven, despite the safety message "the device can now be safely removed"
I've installed the RC on...
I've been playing with Windows 7 for about a week now, and I love it... I've got only ONE issue on the whole machine. My Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 USB mouse seems to be a problem. While moving around on the screen the pointer hangs for a moment, and the computer makes a ding chime...

Just trying to figure out an issue I have with Windows 7.
Is anyone else using a desktop USB Microphone that's using Windows 7's USB Audio Driver?
I seem to be getting a "Thunderstorm" type sound whenever I use or activate the microphone.
Look at the attatchment.
I'm upgrading my old HP Pavillion tx2000's DVD tray.
All I've found is that it is a "12.7 mm PATA" socket.
?
Is there any other name for that?
