I have a needlework charting program what will convert a photo to a graph/chart.
The photo is in My Pictures. The program wants to import from Clipboard, not directly from pictures file folder. I have tried all I know.
Is this significant? When I click Start and All Programs, no Clipboard...
Not sure where to post this - also, since the forum doesn't allow double posting, IF I do post this in the wrong section please move it (admins, looking at you guys).
So this is the deal:

2) does the Bing travel tile slideshowing the same destinations : Budapest, Rio, Paris all day
3) does the sport app and news app show the same photo...
When I read emails in Windows 8 Internet Explorer, the photos that the senders include in the email never show up. If I read that same email using the Internet Explorer from the desktop, they are all there. Is that supposed to be a good thing in Microsofts' thinking? Not really a good selling...
Previous versions of Windows had a "sticky" default file "save as" subdirectory. e.g. when saving a group of photos from an email to a particular subdirectory you only had to point to that subdir in the first save. subsequent saves would by default go to that same subdir. In Win 7, everytime I...
In Windows 7, when you opened an email that had photos embedded in it, it would automatically display those photos. In Windows 8 ie, that sometimes happens but not always. I've gone to the settings for the two emails that I use, Hotmail, and Gmail, and put the setting to automatically download...
In Windows 7 and earlier operating systems, when you selected a photo, you would see the meta data for that photo at the bottom of the window. You could then add comments about that photo, Give the photo a name, and even change the date and time it was taken if the camera had not been set...
With W7 when I wanted to look at pictures I could just click on an album, enlarge it and look at each picture. Now when I click on a picture, the Picture App comes on and maybe one picture will show, I can't look at any other picture or enlarge one. I can't do anything. It is also hard to return...

I just bought W8 the other day and I'm loving it. I'm liking the effort MS is making to be consistent across all platforms and I think this OS is a breathe of fresh air. I can see how some people will loathe it, though. It is totally different than anything they've done in the past.
Anyways...
I've been getting the BSOD since 2010...usually occurs when accessing video or photos at mainstream sites like SI.com or FOX etc...intermittently...I've attached the CPU-Z, RAM-MON and the SF Diagnostics dump files. Any help would be appreciated. Dell Support was of no help on this matter...

I want to view photos on a desktop on my tv. The network is set up and I can see WMP on my TV. The problem is that, although my playlists are in separate folders, the TV sees all the photos as though they were in one folder.
Can someone please tell me the organizing steps in WMP to avoid this?

Oddly, while the Windows 8 Photos app does use the contents of the Pictures library to display local content, it doesn’t work the same way as the Xbox Music and Xbox Video apps when it comes to determining which network-based content can be displayed. Here’s a guide to what...
