I am trying to stop processes running as this is slowing my computer down considerably. I have tried to do this with Task Manager but when I right click on a process the message "operation could not be completed, access is denied" Can anyone tell me an alternate way to stop these processes...

My Steam games and all run absolutely fine. Its just my iTunes, Minecraft, World of Tanks, and on my email, when I go to reply it will just shut down windows live mail. This happened when I was deleting programs on my computer while trying to free up some space. Please help. Thanks.
