When users found out that Microsoft’s (MSFT) next version of Windows wouldn’t have a Start button, they panicked. Replaced in Windows 8 by the user interface formerly known as “Metro,” that tiny button is apparently so important to long-time Windows users*that they can’t imagine life without it...

Hi all,
As Microsoft has removed all the codes to prevent third party developers to create utilities/software to reenable the start button in Windows 8, I would like to know your opinions about that. After the release of the final verison of Windows 8, do you think the developers somehow...
Hello,
Today I have upgraded my Windows 8 Consumer Preview to Windows 8 Release Preview I didn't download the ISO image, so should I install the ISO rather than upgrading the previous OS? Does this affect the changes of some features or anything or it's just that nothing has been changed yet...
According to a report carried by the Verge website, Microsoft are pulling legacy files from the os so that the start button hacks won't work.

I found this cool little program that renames your start bottom,
Unfortunately it only works on xp and I happen to have win 7,
If anyone knows how to remane the start bottom in win 7,

Thanks in advance,
Frantheman7
