I have been playing around with the Secure Boot feature to see if I could tell what properties it might show. Currently, to enable the full Secure Boot feature, I have to use the on board graphics, since my Graphics card does not have a UEFI Op Rom.

I installed Windows 7 x64 Professional on a GPT partition and am booting through UEFI. The floppy controller is detect but the floppy disk drive itself is not detected.
Does anyone know why this is?
I know I am not the only one with this situation.
I try to add a second internal SATA 6 hard drive to my computer. On restart, Windows 8 gives a message "Preparing for Repair" and after few seconds it restarts computer and again the same message and continues to restart.
This SATA was already working smoothly with Windows 7 and Windows 8 RP...

I have a parallel (independent drives) install of Windows 7 and Windows 8 and choose which one from the boot device menu.
Ever since I have been running Windows 8 CP and RP, I have been getting Chkdsk requests whenever I boot into Windows 7 after having been in Windows 8.

I'm using a GA z77x-UD5H and it has its own UEFI dualBios. I am using an external dvd drive to try and install windows 7 because I just built this pc. I have nothing on my HDD yet. All I am trying to do is figure out how to boot using the DVD drive to install windows.
It has come to light, that a UEFI installed system, will fail to boot if a secondary drive is attached which contains logical partitions. This would have to be an MBR configured drive, of course, but if it has at least one primary and one extended partition, it will stop Windows 7 and Windows 8...
