At the moment I'm having difficulty accessing my video compressors in my options menu for various video capture software. They're installed i.e Xvid & Dvix but for some reason they've gone missing lately, has a download knocked them off the menu list or is there a setting in W7 that will...
Working with Windows Live Movie Maker
Link Removed
Note : Microsoft have eliminated the word " Live ".
It is now simply called Windows Movie Maker 2012.
It can be, unfortunately, easily confused with Windows Movie maker 6.0 which is included in Vista operating system.

Does anyone know if there is a way for the user to tweak something in Win 7 Ulimate 64 it so that Pinnacle Studio 15 will use all 12 threads? Or is this restriction something imposed by the code in Studio. I was expecting a a 25% rendering speed improvement by moving from a 4 core intel to a 6...
I've been using Movie Maker to edit videos I've taken with my iPhone. All I do is cut out dead air, and divide files into two for YouTube upload. All this has been just fine.
However, lately I've been running into a really odd and frustrating problem. I'll open up my video file with Movie...

Hello
I would like to compress my videos and was told Win Movie maker would do this. I have been trying but I don't see any place, under any tabs where compression is mentioned.
Does anyone know about video compression because when I burn my files to DVD they take up a lot of room.
Thank you...
