I've just installed the RC version as the second half of a dualboot with Windows XP using two separate harddisks. Though I can boot into either system without any problem, neither system can see the other's C partition in My Computer. Anybody know how to correct this? Thanks
In Vista "Windows Explorer" had an option to allow you to "see" all folders/files.... Where is that option in Win7? I would like to make the"AppData" folder in "Users" visible...

well, when i started my computer today, my desktop was not there... odd? yeah, i tried dragging some things to it and they moved from the previous folder, but didnt show up on the desktop, i even created a new text document, with no problems. but i cannot see my desktop my recycle bin or...
This is weird... When I arrange a folder by name that is located in My Documents, all the files disappear and refresh doesnt bring them back! I can reproduce it consistently using blank text documents. If I copy that folder and paste it somewhere outside my documents, I can see the contents...
One thing I've noticed and don't care for, if you haven't tried this, add gadgets to your desktop and then right click the desktop and go to "View" and uncheck "Show Desktop Items" your gadgets are hidden also.
I think the there should be an option to keep the gadgets on the desktop or atleast...

Just installed Windows 7 build 4000. Using Workgroup, not homegroup. My PC laptop can see my wife's vista machine, but nothing else on the net. There are several macs that should be visible, and an NAS volume that is hooked directly into a router port.

I am dual booting Vista/7 and while i am in vista i can see my 7 partition and its files but when i am in 7, i cant see any of vista's file or even the whole partition!
I have tried using xplorer2 lite but it doesnt see it either.
I am really stumped and i have no idea why it is invisible...
