Probably a simple question . . . . when viewing web sites, emails, etc. and as the mouse rolls over a "linkable site" - the web address flashes up on the screen (and it's LONG, REALLY LONG!!) and I can't see anything around it that I am supposed to click on! Is there a way to hide that address...
Hi
This is a weird one.
I posted a while back about internet searches not working as well as they used to.
Well today I was looking for the address of some one I haven't seen in a long time that we are going to have lunch with.
I typed in, (the names have been changed to protect the innocent)...

Has anyone else experienced Chrome blocking video if you run Ad Blocker?
If I turn on Ad Blocker the ad is gone and I get the sound, but there is a black screen in the video window.
If I turn Ad Blocker off the video returns but I have to watch the same ad, over and over every time I run a...

Hi
Because I'm having issues with Chrome showing video from my Comcast Home Page, (worked fine until a few days ago) I decided to give Edge a real try, and see if I could make the switch.
I found Edge to be such a pain to use that I decided to live with not being able to see the news videos...
One of the major issues I and others have had is using Microsoft Edge on the internet. Yes its fast but noise on the net really get the best out of Edge. If you have not managed your host file, you seriously do not know Microsoft Edge. (Note, there will be an ad block for Edge eventually but...
I got used to the Metro version of IE in Windows 8.1 and actually like it. Now, in Windows 10, I can't find any way to get that look and feel. Is there any way to get that Windows 8.1 Metro version of IE in Windows 10?
Thanks for any help.
Jim

If I enter a URL or click a link in an IE8 window, the requested page will come i an existing or newly created Firefox window. I decided to try changing my default browser from Firefox to IE8 to see if it would help, but couldn't figure out how. Is anyone familiar with either of these problems?
