Hello,

I recently recieved my IBuypower gamer extreme 946i and right from the get-go i started getting BSOD's and was having tons of trouble getting into windows itself.
Motherboard: Asus P7H55
CPU: Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz
RAM: 4x2GB ddr3(not sure of the make or model)
GPU: Radeon HD 5770
I have removed my Avira Antivir.

Any help will be appreciated thanks.

Hi and welcome.

Update your old Realtek network driver:

Code:
 Rt64win7 Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 04:04:13 2009
RTL8111

---------

Enjoy.

If you have further crashes, please post w/ attachment.

i installed the updated realtek networked driver as instructed and shortly after launching my game, i got another bsod.

Try updating this driver from the following link. Downloads | Choose correct OS | Utilities

Download this and install: "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Win7 32&64-bit"

http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=cPrufUGXUlY9OsYv

ASUS doesn't have it up for your board, but it's the same driver across all boards, so this will update well for you.
Code:
ASACPI Wed May 13 21:25:17 2009

If that doesn't do it, we can run Driver Verifier.

the specified files doesnt come with an install utility but it does come with an application, when i try to run that it quickly flashes a command prompt and thats the end of it, not sure if that completes the installation or not.
Is there any way to check if the driver was succesfuly installed?

If it's a brand new machine why not hassle the supplier? Also have checked stuff like bios updates ect?
