Windows 7 64 bit - 4GB RAM (2.87 usable)

I have a samsung r505 laptop with 4GB of ram untill now windows 7 has always shown ir as 4GB until today where its saying only 2.87 is useable how does this make sense??

Try:: (msconfig/Boot/Advanced Options) and if maximum memory is ticked untick it or correct it and reboot then have a look if its using all.
