Windows 7 A few BSOD's over the last week.

So, I've been having some weird BSOD's. The reason why they're weird is I don't actually see the blue screen, it just freezes for a few seconds, turns off and turns back on.

I assumed it was overheating, but it appears to be not. I've come here because I'm completely clueless as to what's causing it but it's BSOD 124, so I assume the PSU is possibly dying? I tested my ram to no errors either.

I'll include my minidumps and other things.View attachment W7F_01-06-2013.rar

STOP 0x124 errors are mostly hardware problems - although occasionally they can be caused by lower level drivers.

Your BIOS dates from 2009. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

These devices are having problems in Device Manager:
Virtual Audio Cable ROOT\MEDIA\0001 52
NVIDIA High Definition Audio HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10DE&DEV_0012&SUBSYS_10DE0101&REV_1001\5&160CEFE3&0&0001 32

NVIDIA High Definition Audio HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10DE&DEV_0012&SUBSYS_10DE0101&REV_1001\5&160CEFE3&0&0301 32
TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 (Tunngle) ROOT\NET\0001 This device is disabled.
The first one appears to be corrupted/damaged. The rest are disabled. Have you deliberately disabled these devices? If so, why?

The Virtual Audio cable thing seems to be associated with a USB audio device (from my Google searches). Please uninstall the device and see if the error goes away.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disc-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics. Let us know the results and we can move on from there.

Ah, I did not disable those manually. Unfortunately, I have been having issues installing videocard drivers for the last month, and this didn't happen prior. could it be that the video driver is the cause of all of this?-By trouble I mean issues installing, where it would fail and revert to the previously installed driver.

I'll try what you suggested, as well.

Just incase, I (finally) found a solution to my driver problem and installed new drivers, will report back if none of the above works.
