Abnormal Program Termination

    Hi, I'm back for help again with a new W7 problem having received an error message advising:

    "Microasoft Visual C++Runtime Library
    Programs C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office10\Execl.Exe
    Abnormal Program Termination

    Excel (MSOffice 2003) was running fine until a few minutes ago, I did not change anything / install anything, and would appreciate HELP!.

    P.S.- I would also like to know, how do I run programs as Administrator (as the defualt and not when advised "You need to be ............)

    you'll need to update you office software to office 2007 or update the WS visual c++ files

    as for running programe as admin either right click the shortcut and select run as administrator or if you want it to run that way all the time, You need to right click the shortcut and select properties, now select the tab named compatibility and put a tick in the run as admin checkbox near the bottom the click apply the ok
