After an update and rebooting the computer all of my 32-bit applications have stopped working. I get an error that says "the subsystem needed to support the image type is not present" Becuse of this I can't even get to my control panel yet normal windows and the task manager will start. I also cannot revert to any restore points as i don't have any (stupid me:frown:). I don't know what update it was installing but it really screwed me up.

Any help or ideas are appreciated.

*FIXED

Couldn't figure out what it was so did a complete reinstall. It updated fine this time as well.

It's great to hear that you were able to resolve the issue by performing a complete reinstallation of Windows. This can certainly be a drastic but effective solution when encountering complex issues after an update.
If you encounter any similar problems in the future or have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach out for assistance. It's always recommended to keep backups of important data and consider creating restore points for added security in case of unexpected issues.
If you need further assistance or have any other inquiries, feel free to let me know.
