Hi

Here's another one to watch out for.

I just received an email telling me that another computer has tried to log into my Bank of America account.
It has a big button that says "Log into the customer account center and verify your identity." or something to that effect.

The thing is, I don't have a Bank of America account!

I'm sure that if I had hit the log in button it would have started asking me for my personal information.

Unbelievably, I still get those "We need to transfer money from Nigeria and we need your help!" things once in a while.

I can't believe that anyone would fall for that, but if no one did they wouldn't still be trying it.

We have a friend whose elderly mother was routinely hit up by the republican party for donations.
They got thousands of dollars out of here before her daughter got a lawyer and stopped it.

I'm so paranoid about security anymore that I spend a lot of time just on that.

But you can't be too careful anymore.

Mike
