I have a fios router to which I want to add Airport Extreme to. Why? Because I will then be able to connect my printer to both operating systems, without the hassle of setting printer sharing, which is easy from Mac to Windows but, a lot more difficult or so it seems from Windows to a Mac using OS X 10.6.7 and Windows 7. What I have yet to find is will this really work without any big hassles. Or will not work right off the bat?
Anyone every try the following?

Okay, just so I know that I got this right. You want to hook up your printer to the network so that sharing it to multiple computers, regardless of OS and system type, will be easier. You are not running any kind of server that it will be connected through. Dose your printer have an RJ45 jack for networking on it?
