Windows 7 ask to update raid driver?

hi my first post ,,i am trying to upgrade to 7 from my vista ultimate and keep a ll my files folders etc but when it comes to the compatibility it stated i had to remove my spy ware to which i did but it keeps telling me to update drivers ite 8212 ata raid ,,but it states i have the latest drivers installed .
can i disable these drivers and then re enable them after install many thanks in advance.

Well, sorry I am the first one to answer, but I have never run a RAID setup. My input will probably be less than helpful.

When it said "remove your spyware", what exactly did you do?

What is telling you to update your RAID drivers?

Have you tried installing yet? Do you have a RAID drivers disc you can use to provide drivers if necessary?

Are you installing from within Vista?

ITS OK NOW i installed 7 to another hdd so now i can triple boot into VISTA ULTIMATE/XP/WINDOWS 7.
