Windows 7 ATI ccc wont show the display properities

I have instaled Windows 7, and i am wery happy, the only issue I've run into is that ATI Catalyst control centre wont show the display properities (resolution and whatnot) like in vista. Not sure if I have to do some fiddling or it is not included yet for various reasons.
I am using Catalyst 9.6 for Win 7x64

I have a similarish type problem with CCC ( same version ). It does display the properties but it kind of hangs, like goes really really slow. I have in turn just started right clicking the CCC icon on the taskbar and setting my properties from there, which works no problems at all. Have you tried that?
