I need help guys, my pc always go blue screen whenever I do anything in desktop (ex: clicking icons or opening chrome) and same thing happens whenever I reboot the computer, so we decided to take it to a specialist and tested it there and surprisingly, the blue screen did not appear, so we went home and tried it again but the same thing happened, blue screen appeared again. what is happening?

Hi,
I'm surprised the shop didn't check your dump files but in any case we need to see your dump files in order to help you best. These are created at the time of bsod as long as the machine is configured to produce them. If you look in the main windows folder see if there's a folder marked 'Minidump'. If there is then read the link i post below and post the results.
If you do not find a folder marked 'Minidump' then you probably need to configure your machine to produce dump files.

Open the run application.
Type sysdm.cpl in the run box and click ok.
Look across the top of the system properties box for 'Advanced' and click that.
Look for 'Startup and Recovery' near the bottom and click 'settings'.
Near the bottom you'll see a drop down menu under the heading 'write debugging information'.
In the drop down menu choose ' small memory dump (256KB)'
Under 'small dump directory' make sure it says %SystemRoot%\Minidump.
Click ok and your good to go.

Once you know you have some dump files then read this thread and post the results:
How to ask for help with a BSOD problem

In the meantime one thing you could try is pressing F8 whilst booting to get into the advanced boot options and look for 'Last good known configuration' and try that. It may get you back to a point where the system ran fine.

I saw the minidump in the windows folder but was it supposed to be empty?

Hi,
no dump file can mean one of three things, you didn't actually blue screen, your settings are not configured to produce them. (See my post above on how to set Windows to produce dump files) or your pagefile is either turned off or below 200mb.

Check your settings are like the ones laid out above although you will need to bsod again for a dump file to appear.

okay, so I did all you told me to do and the minidump folder is still empty :/ I already tried the "last good known configuration" option and It didn't work

Have you actually had another blue screen event? A dump file will not be created until you do.

Other reasons for no dump file creation can be no paging file or one thats below 200mb so do make sure your is enabled and set to above 200mb.

Problems with the HDD can also stop dump file creation. Try running a chkdsk making sure you check for and repair broken sectors:
