Pete;ive put both the dmp file and the xml file in a rar. incase they are needed
thanks for the replys. ive just build the system a few days ago and all ive used was the vista 64 bit drivers off the net and used the bios update util but ill check again for all drivers and hopefully it was only a 1 off incedent.
which is inconclusive and not very helpful but it's very likely this crash could be caused by these old drivers in the minidump*******************************************************************************

ive found some of the drivers you posted for me and i cant get any newer drivers so i dont know what to do i could still remove them using command prompt but im not sure and apperently asus isnt going to make anymore drivers for this board
yeah i allways keep my display drivers cleaned out and up to date i learnt my lesson from that with my first rig but them drivers there are for the nvidia chipset as u can see from my last post ive done just the 1 update and it looks like ive got to live with the rest i think im gonna have a good moan to asus because ive had a look about and there is lots of people having problems with drivers and this board
edit: im gonna redo my display drivers once more because i just looked in this folder C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver and found an older driver in there for some reason allong with the current one
my gfx card is the gigabyte GV-N98TOC-512H
yeah its a bit strange the gamers hud that comes with the card wont pick up and card info like shader clock or gpu frequency but pc wizard picks up all the gfx card info
