Pete;
I looked at the .dmp and it's pretty much generic and doesn't point to anything specific that I could determine, of course if the problem persists, you could try posting another. I suspect that it's probably a driver issue so of course you would want to update bios, chipset, video and audio drivers, but I checked and I couldn't find any specific Win7 drivers for the MoBo, you may have better luck. Also if you are OC'ing of course back it down to normal and see if the problem goes away

thanks for the replys. ive just build the system a few days ago and all ive used was the vista 64 bit drivers off the net and used the bios update util but ill check again for all drivers and hopefully it was only a 1 off incedent.

windows debugger shows :

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

BugCheck 101, {61, 0, fffff880009e8180, 1}

Probably caused by : Unknown_Image ( ANALYSIS_INCONCLUSIVE )

Followup: MachineOwner

which is inconclusive and not very helpful but it's very likely this crash could be caused by these old drivers in the minidump

and they definitely need updating ;)

these are drivers for your Nvidia GFX card and your High Definition Audio Function Driver :eek:

ive found some of the drivers you posted for me and i cant get any newer drivers so i dont know what to do i could still remove them using command prompt but im not sure and apperently asus isnt going to make anymore drivers for this board

Did you get the NVidia driver directly from their site?

Yiu need to uninstall the previous drivers before running the install for the new drivers.

You could try using Driver Sweeper

as reghakr says you need to clean out any old drivers before you try the latest Nvidia ;)

what make and model is your motherboard ?

its the asus P5N-T deluxe

i found an update for this driver
nvmfdx64.sys fffff880`04460000 fffff880`045c8c80 0x00168c80 0x473f7dad 17/11/2007 23:47:57
its the 780i chip set ive updated that 1 to a beta version they had on there site from 2008

yeah i allways keep my display drivers cleaned out and up to date i learnt my lesson from that with my first rig but them drivers there are for the nvidia chipset as u can see from my last post ive done just the 1 update and it looks like ive got to live with the rest i think im gonna have a good moan to asus because ive had a look about and there is lots of people having problems with drivers and this board

edit: im gonna redo my display drivers once more because i just looked in this folder C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver and found an older driver in there for some reason allong with the current one

good call, about 50% of driver Bluescreen errors tend to be gfx :eek:

That looks like your motherboard.

Go to Start > Run, and type msinfo32 and look under the Display section.

ok ill try this driver here i did download it at first but i thought the newer nvidia 1 wud be better but i cant use any of the overclock features on the card so after this driver is installed hopefully it will give my the full capability of the card ill report bk in 5

yeah its a bit strange the gamers hud that comes with the card wont pick up and card info like shader clock or gpu frequency but pc wizard picks up all the gfx card info

most important is are you still experiencing bluescreen crashes or instability ?

no more blue screen crashes but i think i may have found the source of the problem i think it was nvidia forceware network access manager because i was also noticing high cpu usage while using certian programs so i just uninstalled it and the high cpu usage was no more.

thanks for all the help
