Hey everyone,

new to this forum, and found out this website from googling, trying to find out some answers to as why my new computer has been receiving BSOD.

I will try my best to give out as much info as I can about my computer and following the forum rules.

So this computer is only about 3-4 weeks old, and I ordered the parts from newegg and microcenter. Everything was running smoothly but had been receiving BSOD since a week or two ago, and it's been driving me crazy. It would just freeze out of no where, from either surfing the net, watching youtube, etc. and the BSOD would pop up, and restart. It has not crashed while playing video games, but only when doing mediocre tasks.

I get a gut feeling that it has something to do with my power supply. I've read numerous of positive reviews and quite honestly had a tight budget and "cheaped" out on the PSU. I know this is the last thing you should go cheap on but still, I've read positive reviews of this PSU. However I get a feeling it has something to do with it such as my computer not getting enough power. However I did some several tests of how much watt i should need for this computer build, and most websites indicate this power supply is more than sufficient.

The computer build:

Intel Core i5 3570K Ivy Bridge
Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
Nvidia Geforce GTX 550ti
2x G.Skill DDR3 4GB
OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD

Rosewill Green series RG630-S12 630W power supply

I uploaded the screenshots and DMP files. I hope some one can help out!

Hello there!

Seems like a Windows object is getting terminated to cause the BSOD run SFC Scannow to make sure all the Windows files are intact. Run Malware scanner i.e. Download Malwarebytes and run a complete scan. Once we rule out the possibility of software then we can do some Hardware Diagnosis.

just ran the memtest and HD diagnostic. no errors reported. did 7 tests on the memory and nothing

RE: BSOD when old HDD with Win7 is used in a new PC build.
If U have the Win7 CD, you can load drivers for OLD HDD but I do not know where the HDD drivers are in the Win7 CD or the MB CD.On attempting Startup repair U do get the option to "Load Drivers"

so i did what you asked, and i ran disk verifier following your directions. the moment i log in windows 7 and windows 7 is starting up, i get the BSOD which states that FNETURPX.SYS is at fault.. is it safe to delete this file?

so i just ended up deleting the software that was associated with the FNETURPX.SYS file. And with the drive verifier still enabled, I have not had BSOD so far. I will keep it on for the next 48 hours and keep you updated. Crossing my fingers and hope this was the cause of the BSOD

everything was going fine but unfortunately today i got another BSOD... while installing a game.. and my computer froze... 2 minutes later.. BSOD..:(

new minidump file attached.
