Windows 7 BSOD Only when Gaming

Help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz i have done everything in the world to stop my BSOD and i can't figure out how to fix it !!! I'm about to blow up my machine !

i am a complete noob when it comes to all of this stuff so PLZ USE ENGLISH to help me out
the September crash is rather old, i have since fixed that issue the October one is the newest

My system specs are:

Asus Saber-tooth x58 LGA 1366 quad core MB
Windows 7 64-bit ultimate
12 gigs of ram
Intel quad core i7 960 LGA 1366 CPU
Nvidia Ge-force GTX 590 - Classified Edition
850w Corsair Power-supply

Please rerun the file collection app and let it finish. There'll be a window that says something about zipping up the files and posting them - that's when the app is finished.

Hey John thanks for the speedy help, those links for the Drivers you sent me did not work, they rerouted me to the site which i assume gives you another site that has the driver, i'd click that and it'd just bring me to a home page with no driver....so if you could, could you give me the direct links or direct downloads, and here is the finished .rar you asked for, i reran the grab all and waited for everything to stop poping up then zipped it

if there is any other info you need let me know, I'll be glad to help you out as much as i can in return for your MUCH appreciated help like i said before I'm on my last strand of hair with this issue I'm going insane

I also use an app called "bluescreenview" and "whocrashed" to view the problems but it doesn't help me much besides telling me what the issue is...

The links at my website ( carrona.org ) are intended to point people to the general area where the drivers are. There's just not enough room to put the links for every single driver for every single operating system.

The file collection app didn't finish again. Please provide the information that I requested.

I do not use BlueScreenView or WhoCrashed as they often don't provide any useful information for me.
In this case they provided you with the same information that I gave you in my first post - the STOP 0x116 error.
Have you completed the troubleshooting steps for that yet?

If not, please do so. If the BSOD's continue after that, then we'll move on to the other drivers.

There is one driver that you must install - the ASACPI.sys driver
Go to this link: ASUS - Motherboards- ASUS SABERTOOTH X58
Click on the down arrow in the "Select OS" box and select your OS
Then, scroll down and click on the + sign to the left of the Utilities category
Then, scroll down to the second item in the Utilities category - it'll be named "ASUS PC ProbeII V1.04.88 Install Program for 32/64bit Windows XP & Windows Vista & Windows 7"
Download it and install it.
Then reboot
Then check in C:\Windows\System32\drivers to ensure that ASACPI.sys is dated later than 2005 (it should be 2009 or later).

Once all that is done, then post back if you're having further BSOD's.

Installed all steps and drivers that you listed, rebooted, played bf3 for about 15-20mins then got a hard crash of my whole pc monitor went blank fans speeds all ramped up and system locked up had to hold restart button to shut down and reboot, got no error message when rebooting and no crash log I also got the app to finally finish correctly so here's the New and hopefully complete dump.rar

Go to an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt
Type "systeminfo.exe >%userprofile%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt" (without the quotes)
Press Enter
You will find the file systeminfo.txt on your Desktop

Next, open up MSINFO32 (Start...Run...type in "MSINFO32" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Click on File...Save - and save it as an .nfo file
Click on File...Export - and save it as a .txt file

Then zip up all 3 files into a .zip file and upload it with your next post.

Do you have the latest driver for the Nvidia Ge-force video card. Go here Link Removed

Select the Drivers tab and select "Automatic Driver Detection[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]" tab if you want geforce to automatically detect it or you can select it from the list. How long have you been playing Battlefield without the error. Also, was there anything you may have installed recently or settings you may have changed? It's possible something is running in the background that can be using a high usage of the CPU or memory. Also I would try disabling the anti-virus and see how long it goes. To check what the usage is just go to Start - Run - and type in taskmgr.exe This will open up the task manager and go to processes tab and press "Show processes from all users". Click the CPU column until it's in descending order and see what the usage is and do the same with the memory. I will verify the driver version. It's possible there might even be an update with battlefield.[/FONT]
