Windows 10 BSOD unexpected store expectation & critical code one after another

Hi,
I am using a 4 year old Toshiba Satellite C855.
In the past few months I have experiencing BSOD, but not that annoying, maybe 1x or 2x a week, the problem is, the BSOD is not during heavy task, just while watching youtube or movies.
Now in the past few days I got it almost everyday, and not to mention my laptop freezes 2x in 2 days and I had to forced reboot by pressing the power button long.

I am only using the laptop for watching movies, surfing, picture editing, but definitely not for gaming & video editing.

I hope someone here can help me fix it.

Btw, here is all the data I collected so far

• The windows memory diagnostic detected no errors
• According to driver booster, all drivers are up to date
• The mini dump data can be seen on attachment

Hi,
it's not exactly clear what the exact cause is. Your first dump file blamed your disk hardware whereas the second was caused when a critical process died.

Your issue is slightly compounded by the fact you have little or no driver support. I checked your support page and drivers stop at Windows 8.1.
(laptops need to use drivers supplied by the manufacturer apart from some graphics drivers)

Your storage driver is pretty old and might be why your first dump flagged the disk hardware system:

Let's run some basic tests and scans which may help

File scans
Right click on the Start menu icon and from the revealed list choose 'admin command prompt'. Type:
sfc /scannow
press enter and await results

In the same command prompt and after the above scan has finished type:
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Press enter and await results (longer this time).

If the first scan found files it could not repair but the second scan is successful, run the first scan again using the same command prompt box and this time it should repair the files found.

Run a chkdsk:
chkdsk – Guide for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10

Check your RAM:
How to Test Your Computer’s RAM for Problems

Lastly I see your running Bitdefender, we usually ask that third party anti virus suites be uninstalled as often these can lay behind the issues seen. Just use the onboard Defender until you know the bsod has either stopped or not.

Please post any new dump files.

Thanks for your quick reply and your help in advance.

• Check disk > No errors were found
• Memory diagnostic > detected no errors
• sfc & dism check > completed successfully without any problem
• I have installed the latest intel storage manager and my laptop for the last 24h it has running without problem

1 question though, since the latest support from Toshiba is for windows 8.1, do you think I can also install Intel Rapid Storage Technology v. 15.8.1.1007 (9/12/2017) for win10 64 from intel download center because on my pc info it says OS Version Win 10 home 10.0.15063.

You could try it but i would definitely create a system restore point before you do.

To be honest though if your machine is running fine I would be tempted to try it only if the issue's continued.

This is the Creators Update version. You should see an update available for the Fall Creators Update eventually via Windows update, It carries the build number 10.0.16299.
