Hi,

after checking up on your machine your bios is really in need of updating:

BiosVersion = 1007
BiosReleaseDate = 05/17/2013

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z87PRO/#support

Please update your graphics driver:

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64

Please update your Sound driver:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Skype has also recently been updated too (October: Version 6.10.0.104 ) unless you already got that but if not please update to the latest version.

http://www.skype.com/en/download-skype/skype-for-computer/

See how you go with the above and if the issue continues post back.

Seems to have fixed it, I had the latest graphic divers so I think that updating the audio drivers fix it. It's strange though because I downloaded the drivers form Asus already, are they different from the realtek once? Anyways thanx alot!!

Glad to hear that you might have the issue resolved. If you haven't already I'd also consider updating the bios too as a number were compatibility updates (well at least one).

The drivers you download from the Asus site may be a little older than the versions available direct from the developers.

Well I was able to play a really long time without getting any bluescreens at all! So I consider this issue fixed. I updated everything as you said by the way. Thanx again!

Hi,

the dmp you posted is pointing to you graphics driver as the issue and i notice it still needs updating:
atikmdag.sys Sat Aug 31 01:02:50 2013

Before you install the new driver you need to uninstall previous versions. Use the utility found here:
http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html
This will allow you to remove anything left over which can lead to issues.

You can download the latest driver here: (13.9)
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows 8 - 64

according to the dmp file you posted your bios is still in need of updating:
BiosVersion = 1007
BiosReleaseDate = 05/17/2013

There are are at least 4 more releases taking it up to version 1602. Please use the above link to update.

Update the above and see how you go..

I'm going to try and re-install Windows when I get home later, since I recently bought an i7 and a new motherboard. I usually do this when I install any new major component in any computer though to be honest I've been to lazy to do it yet.

It's strange that it still says that the BIOS needs updating since I update it when right after I saw your first reply, telling me too.

Aaah.. It could be that and I agree. Any new major piece of hardware really deserves a fresh install. It's not critical but personally I prefer to start afresh as it helps much later if your problem solving. I am surprised however that when you fitted your new motherboard you weren't asked to activate windows again. (replacing the motherboard is seen as creating a new pc so hence the activation request. Anyhoo please post back with any developments.

So I formatted and re-installed windows(8), installed all the latest drivers and everything seem too work. I played Battlefield 4 alone for a while, then suddenly I got the usual blue screen :( The strange thing is that as I said, I wasn't taking to anyone on Skype which seem to have been the trigger before, maybe it's just my graphics card giving up? It's an "old" HD 6850 that Iv'e been using for about 2-3 years now. Uploaded the dump file.

I have never gotten the request to active Windows again, though when I think about it it really should... strange.

Hello, so after playing BF4 both alone and while taking with friends on Skype I've not had a single blue screen since I updated to the beta drivers. So I guess it's solved then, thanks for all the support!
