Windows 7 BSOD while playing video games- brand new mobo cpu and ram

hi, i have recently purchased a few new components including a mobo cpu and ram.
while playing BFBC2 i consistently get a BSOD and i have to manually shut down my pc

at first i thought it was because the computer was overheating... and boy it was... my core i5 2500 reached temps of high 90's.
but then i discovered that by default the computer overclocks itself... so i manually had to adjust it to run at a constant 3.3 GHz.
since then it is around 45c-50c at idle and 60c-65c while playing BFBC2. (70c-72c prime95)
plus, the memory also needed to be adjusted... i bought g. skill ripjaws that are suppose to operate on 6-8-6-24 and 1600MHz. the motherboard configured it to 9-9-9-28.
i even updated my bios to the F4 version.
all the manual changes i made didn't help and it still goes to a BSOD... this is the error i get when i turn on the computer -

Is it only BFBC2, and does it use Steam? If so, have you looked for a Steam update? Even though it updates itself, you might check.

There is a BSOD forum where the folks are more acquiainted with dump files. You might check over there if none of them come by.

I can't open your dump files. If you have more than one dump file, zip them up and attach using the paperclip in the Advanced reply.

 

[Trouble]

The dump file is suggesting a hardware error associated with hal.dll (hardware abstraction layer).
My primary concern is this older driver
GVTDrv64.sys 9/5/2006 generally associated with Gigabyte Easy Tune, I would suggest first uninstalling that software and if you are overclocking anything return all settings to their respective defaults and then see if there may be a newer updated version of the software available for your motherboard if you think you really need it.

EDIT: If BSODs persist after removing that software and it's associated driver please post new dump files. You have Norton/Symantec installed which has in the past been associated with some Blue Screens but not usually with 124s as far as I know.
When adding attachments in your reply, click the "Go Advanced" button and use the Paper Clip to attach the file. You should also read and accumulate data as per this post http://windows7forums.com/blue-screen-death-bsod/38837-how-ask-help-bsod-problem.html#post140678 put it all into a folder on your desktop zip it up and attach it.
