Here are my system specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad 8200
Gigabyte EP43-UD3L mobo
2GB DDR2 Corsair memory sticks
WD 160 GB SATA HD
EVGA GeForce GTX 285 1GB with GPU
Apevia 680w PSU and P4 12v ATX adaptor for CPU
Sony DVD Drive and CD ROM that are on the same IDE cable but jumpers might be wrong

So far I have not been able to notice if my graphics card is working or not, when browsing with IE it seems sluggish when I scroll up or down. Well, with Firefox it seems faster but I have had problems installing drivers for my EVGA graphics card. My HDD light stays on for lengths of times, then goes off, but then comes back on for a while. Could the Bit series be the wrong install for my system? Can I downgrade to 32-Bit?

No, you would have to perform a "clean" install, wiping out the 64-bit edition completely.

You will have to re-install all your 3rd party apps however.

Ok, so before I can proceed with that, now there's the question on if i can download 32bit windows 7 without having to go through the email verification and such. Will I have to do that again? I'm sorry for all the questions.
