Windows 7 Can I uninstall Windows XP?

Hi, i have 2 partitions in my pc.
I had windows XP in one , so I installed
Windows 7 in the other.

I want to know if I uninstall XP
the Windows 7 will not have problen.

Because i had a situation like this before, but it was XP and Vista
and when i uninstalled XP the Vista didn't work.

The first OS tha was installed was XP.

When you get rid of XP it will mess up your boot files. Do some searching here there are posts on it and a program that will will work around it.
