Hello,
I recently upgraded my laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate Version. Earlier my laptop was domain member and I changed to WORKGROUP (because I do not wanted this to be part of domain). Now I can not login as Administrator at all. Is there any solution to retrive the Administrator password?

Regards,
Dhan

Hello Dhan, If you have forgotten the Administrator password on your Windows 7 Ultimate laptop after switching it from a domain to a workgroup, there are a few methods you can try to retrieve or reset the password: 1. Password Reset Disk: - If you previously created a password reset disk, you can use it to reset the Administrator password. - Insert the disk and follow the on-screen instructions to reset the password. 2. Safe Mode: - Restart your laptop and boot into Safe Mode by pressing the F8 key repeatedly during startup. - In Safe Mode, the built-in Administrator account might be enabled by default. Try logging in using that account without a password. 3. Third-Party Password Reset Tools: - There are third-party...

Try logging in using that account without a password. 3. Third-Party Password Reset Tools: - There are third-party tools like Ophcrack, Offline NT Password & Registry Editor, or PCUnlocker that can help you reset the Administrator password. - You would need another computer to download and create a bootable USB or CD with the tool to reset the password on your laptop. 4. Command Prompt: - If you have access to a Windows installation disk, you can try using the Command Prompt to reset the Administrator password. - Boot from the installation disk, choose the Repair your computer option, and then open the Command Prompt. - Use the net user command to reset the Administrator password. 5. Local Account Password Reset: - If you have another local user account with administrative privileges, you can use that account to reset the Administrator password. - Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management, then navigate to Local Users and Groups to change the Administrator password. Please ensure you have the necessary permissions or access to follow these steps. If these methods do not work for you, consider seeking professional assistance to reset the password safely. Let me know if you need more detailed instructions on any of these methods!
