Solution
Hi Trevor — thanks, and nice find. From the screenshot you uploaded I can see the item in your cart is the common USB-to-IDE/SATA adapter cable: it has a SATA plug (red cable), a USB lead, and a white 4‑pin Molex power lead for 3.5" drives. That means it should work for both laptop 2.5" SATA drives and desktop 3.5" drives (with the power brick).
Below are simple, safe steps to connect the adapter and recover files, plus troubleshooting and recovery-tool suggestions.
1) Identify the drive type
  • 2.5" SATA (laptop) — usually powered by USB alone.
  • 3.5" SATA (desktop) — requires the Molex power from the adapter’s power brick (or a separate PSU). Don’t try a 3.5" without external power.
  • 2.5" / 3.5" PATA/IDE (older) — uses the wide...
Got it. Quick clarifier: do you mean
  • you received an email but the adapter doesn’t appear in Your Orders, or
  • the email said it was delivered but nothing arrived?
Do this to verify safely (no links in the email):
1) Sign in at Amazon.co.uk → Accounts & Lists → Your Orders → set filter to Past 6 months and check the “Not yet dispatched” tab. Make sure you’re on the correct account/region (UK) and not viewing Archived orders.
2) If it’s not there, the email may be a phishing message. Check the sender ends with @amazon.co.uk, and don’t click email links—use Your Orders only.
3) If Your Orders shows it but tracking stalled or says delivered with no package, open the order → Problem with order → “Where’s my stuff?” and contact Amazon.
If you upload a screenshot of the email headers (sender and subject visible), I’ll tell you if it looks legit and what to click next.

Look the item did not show

Got it. That’s a generic “review your purchase” email that Amazon auto‑sends after the estimated delivery date. In your case: order placed 21 August 2025, ETA 31 August 2025; the review email on 1 September doesn’t prove delivery.
Do this (don’t click links in the email):
  • Go to Amazon.co.uk → Accounts & Lists → Your Orders (past 6–12 months). Open the Vantec SATA/IDE TO USB 3.0 Adapter (CB‑ISA225‑U3).
  • If it shows Delivered but you didn’t get it: Problem with order → Order not received → choose refund or replacement; also read any “left with neighbor/safe place” notes and tracking.
  • If it’s not in Your Orders at all, the message may be spoofed or for a different marketplace/account. Ignore it and report the email to stop-spoofing@amazon.com.
  • If tracking is stalled or the parcel’s late: Problem with order → Where’s my stuff? → Contact Amazon.
If you want, paste what Your Orders shows (status/tracking) and I’ll advise the next click.

I'm supossed to have got it 27th Aug but didn't .

Thanks for the screenshot — it shows “Delivered 27 August” but you didn’t get it. Do this (don’t use links in emails; use Your Orders):
1) Open Amazon.co.uk → Your Orders → that Vantec order → Track package.
  • Look for a delivery photo, “left at safe place/with neighbour,” or a different address.
2) If you still can’t find it: on the same order page click Problem with order (or Get help with order) → Order not received → choose Replacement or Refund.
3) If it says “Dispatched by Amazon,” use the Chat/Call option on that page and they’ll reship/refund. If it’s a third‑party/Global Store seller, the form messages the seller; if they don’t resolve it within 48 hours, file an A‑to‑z Guarantee claim from the same page.
4) Because you ordered 2 units, check if there are two tracking IDs and if only one was delivered.
Tell me what the Track package page shows (photo, “safe place,” or nothing) and I’ll advise the exact next click.

This is what i get

Got it. Your Orders shows “Delivered 27 August” by DPD (AW034402350), but you didn’t receive it. Do this from the order page (not from the email):
  • Click See all updates. Check if there’s a photo/safe‑place note or if only 1 of 2 items was delivered. Note anything odd.
  • Click Return or replace items → Problem with order → Item not received. Choose Replacement (or Refund). Include: “Tracking AW034402350 shows delivered on 27 Aug; not received; no parcel/photo at 27 Voltage Terrace, DH4 4TA; please investigate/re‑ship.”
  • If chat/flow isn’t offered, open View order details → Get help with order/Contact us, or call/chat and request proof of delivery (photo + GPS). If a seller is involved and they don’t resolve it within 48 hours, file an A‑to‑z Guarantee from the same page.
Tip: because the listing shows quantity 2, confirm whether there were two tracking IDs and only one parcel was delivered.

I thought DPD AW034402350 was the tacking numbe but can't find owt

I thought DPD AW034402350 was the tacking numbe but can't find owt

I sent the hard drive back on 4th of july they sent an email saying they received it on the 5th , i contacted them on fri 15th to see when i might get my hard drive back . It also cost me £8-95 to return it ,thought the warranty lasted 4 or 5 years , and all returns would be free . at first she said i would get a replacement hard drive if i wanted . The total price is £343.49 an extra £53.50 , how can someone charge you extra when you paid full price for the hard drive in the first place pure GREED . I asked to refund my money .They must think i'm the thickest person on the planet second probably .
