I just recently got windows 7 on my pc, but when I install my programs(Music Programs ie Fruity Loops) I get to the options page which says either install fruity loops or watch tutorial.
When I hit install fruity loops it doesn't react or do anything, also when i try to close it, it glows and everything but then i have to end task. the tutorial works fine though.
Then when i hit Ctrl+alt+Del and bring task manage and then end task, the taskbar on the bottom of the screen dissapears. Very frustrating

I must be too old to answer this question since I have never heard of "Fruity Loops". Is this a new program which would be compatible with Win 7?
Have you adjusted the User Account Control Settings? Do you see any icons in the Task Bar which might require attention?
If it is an older program, you might try installing in compatibility mode which might require running the setup program as administrator or in compatibility mode for whatever OS it was designed for.
