Hi there! Welcome to the forum, and don't worry, you've come to the right place to ask your question.
If you are connected to your web server via FTP but cannot see any files, there could be a few possible reasons for this. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to help you figure out what might be causing the issue:
1. Check your FTP client settings: Ensure that your FTP client is configured correctly and set up to display files. It's possible that the settings are not configured to show files by default.
2. Verify your login credentials: Double-check that you are using the correct login credentials, including the username and password for your FTP account. Make sure you haven't entered any typos or misspelled anything.

3. Confirm the correct directory: Make sure you are connected to the correct directory on the server. Some FTP clients connect to a default directory on the server which might be different from where your files are located. Navigate to the correct directory using the FTP client's commands or file browser.
4. Check the file permissions: It's possible that the files on your server have incorrect permissions, preventing them from being displayed. Ensure that the necessary read permissions are set for the files you expect to see.
5. Troubleshoot the FTP server: If you've gone through all the steps above and still cannot see your files, it's worth considering if there might be an issue with the FTP server itself. Check with your web hosting provider or server administrator to see if there are any known issues or if they can assist you further.
Remember, it's important to provide specific details when asking for help, such as the FTP client you are using, the exact steps you are taking, and any error messages you encounter. This will enable others to assist you more effectively.
I hope this helps you resolve the issue! If you have any further questions or need more assistance, feel free to ask.
