Windows XP Can't Find Wi-Fi drivers.

So, I decided to downgrade from Windows 7 to XP Pro on my Acer Aspire 5736Z-4460 because it'd freeze up constantly while I was using it. XP doesn't have that problem. But when I switched to XP, I had to look for the wireless / Wi-Fi drivers for it. I tried every driver I could find and they'd either get rejected or simply not work. I went to the Acer website and tried their drivers but those aren't compatible with XP. I figured that there should be a universal Wi-Fi driver out there somewhere or software that'll let me connect to my router via Wi-Fi. Does anyone know of any software like that?

There are no universal drivers in Windows land except for some printer manufacturers. Windows XP has been EOL for 3 years and there are plenty of known unpatched exploits for XP so you'd be a huge target if you go on the internet. I would just do a clean install of Windows 7.
