I got this new laptop which has windows 7 64 bit in it. and i looked through the problems other people had and i think this problem is cause by WOW64 not running properly but i might be wrong i did not see any 64 bit processes to try killing it. The process hang on ending stage and just sit there.

Solution
WOW64 is the emulator service that allows you to run 32-bit applications in the 64-bit environment. This is a high-priority part of the Windows kernel, and it can not be rationally disabled. You should try to figure out whatever program is causing the lack of response and remove that program. Take a look at your Event Logs to see if this gives you an indication of what is going on. Try: Command Prompt -> eventmgr.msc
