Hi.
Ok ..i installed the seven. All ok.
I have two network external hard disks.Use for storing files.
But i can see them.I mean i can see them at network and see the folders or the files i have in them.
I did like i was doing to the xp or vista. What is wrong?I tried the last 3 days to fix it but no success.
So i came here and ask for help.
Thanks for reading my msg and for any help.

Is it possible that your ethernet hdd device does not support NTLM V2. I know I was reading a similar issue occuring with some Western Digital My Books. You may try setting your Win7 machine using
1. Open gpedit.msc.
2. Find the policy
Computer Configuration ->Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options ->Network security: LAN Manager authentication level.
Try adjusting this to Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated.
See if that helps....you can always set it back if this doesn't resolve your issue.

Thanks for your answer and you time to read my post.
But i solved.I went to assus (motherboard) support and download the latest lan drivers (for seven) then did a restart and
i can see my LAN HDD now.
Thanks again for your time.
Till next problem.....see you.

Glad you resolved your problem and thanks for posting back with the solution that worked for you.
