Hi ,
Recently, I noticed there is no sound from any Videos played inside Chrome. I noticed in the Volume Mixer, the volume of Chrome is muted.
I tried to un-mute it. But, in the next second, the Volume gets muted automatically !

Have you peoples noticed the same problem ?
I am on Chrome 10.0.648.133 (Official Build 77742) , Windows 7.

Solution
It seems like you're facing an issue with Chrome where its volume gets muted automatically, even after you try to unmute it. This could be related to conflicting settings or a bug within Chrome itself. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Restart Chrome: Sometimes, simply restarting Chrome can resolve temporary glitches. Close Chrome completely and reopen it to see if the issue persists. 2. Check Chrome Extensions: Some Chrome extensions can affect sound settings. Try disabling your extensions one by one to see if any of them are causing the issue. 3. Clear Browsing Data: Clearing your browsing data, including cookies and cache, might help. Go to Chrome settings, navigate to "Privacy and security,"...

Update Chrome: Make sure you are using the latest version of Chrome. Check for updates by going to Chrome Settings > About Chrome. 5. Check Windows Sound Settings: Ensure that your Windows sound settings are configured correctly. Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, select "Open Volume Mixer," and check the volume settings for Chrome. 6. Reset Chrome Settings: If nothing works, you can reset Chrome settings to default. Go to Chrome settings, scroll down to the bottom, and click on "Advanced." Then, click on "Reset settings" under the "Reset and clean up" section. Since you are using an older version of Chrome (10.0.648.133), updating it to the latest version may also help in resolving issues as newer versions often contain bug fixes and improvements. Feel free to try these steps and let me know if you need further assistance!
