Creative has released new Beta Drivers for the X-Fi, X-Fi Titanium and X-Fi Titanium HD sound cards.

These drivers resolve: instability issues when using OpenAL with GroundWiz RTS Demo and Benchmark tool on the X-Fi Titanium HD and X-Fi; and issues with no sound after unplugging headphones from the front panel or the X-Fi I/O drive, along with audio stuttering in the opening video of certain games with Dolby Digital Live enabled on the X-Fi Titanium.

Maybe? Works fine in FF and IE. My realtek sound works 100%, but I installed anyway. I couldn't actually detect any difference or new features.

Creative has released Link Removed (Non-Beta) for a range of audio cards, including most of the SoundBlaster X-Fi series. Changes include bug fixes and support for Windows 8.

Hmm, til now, I've always consider Realtek drivers to only be for on-board sound, but the mention of this being applicable to some Creative sound card, in a few of the posts above, indicates otherwise. I don't have any Creative sound cards at the moment, but what about Asus sound cards?
 
I couldn't find any mention of Realtek on that page, but then I don't recall ever seeing it on the Creative page either, but then it has been a while since I had a Creative card.
