Somehow, the 'Computer'/'My Computer' location is missing from my computer. I can browse to any subfolders of 'Computer' (like program files, removable drives, other partitions) and everything is fine:
Link Removed due to 404 Error

However, when I click on the 'Computer ' button in the location bar to take me to it, I get this:

...just blank space where drives and all that should be. I don't know what's up with this, but 'Computer' also deleted itself from the start menu. It's nowhere. Any suggestions on how to restore it? Thanks.

    ]Check Registry Settings:
    • Sometimes, changes in registry settings can affect this. Be cautious when editing the registry.
      • Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter.
      • Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer.
      • Look for a DWORD value named "NoDrives" and delete it if present.
    []Run System File Checker:
    • Running the System File Checker tool can help fix corrupted system files that might be causing this issue.
      • Open Command Prompt as administrator.
      • Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
      • Wait for the scan to complete and restart your computer.

    ]Reset Folder View Settings:
    • Resetting folder view settings can sometimes resolve display issues.
      • Open Command Prompt as administrator.
      • Type attrib -h -r -s %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries and press Enter.
      • Restart your computer to see if the 'Computer' location reappears. These steps should help you troubleshoot and potentially resolve the missing 'Computer' location issue. Let me know if you need more assistance or if you have any other questions!
