Hello there,
I got a bit of a problem here.
Just installed the newest version of Windows 7 beta from MS' homepage.
And I installed Steam and CS:S, but when i enter CS:S the screen ain't fullscreen. It haves a 5cm space in each side, where its just black. Tried every single resolution, and none of em' completes the full screen. Only when i'm setting it to Windowed mode its full screen, but then the text and graphics are totally unclear.
I hope you can help me
Thanks for reading

Hello Skinzor, It seems like you're encountering an issue with CS:S (Counter-Strike: Source) not displaying in fullscreen properly on Windows 7 beta. This could be due to compatibility issues or incorrect display settings. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause display issues. You can visit the website of your graphics card manufacturer to download and install the latest drivers. 2. Compatibility Mode: Try running CS:S in compatibility mode. Right-click on the game's shortcut or executable, go to Properties, then the Compatibility tab, and check the box for "Run this program in compatibility...

Right-click on the game's shortcut or executable, go to Properties, then the Compatibility tab, and check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select an earlier version of Windows such as Windows XP or Windows Vista. 3. Change Resolution in Game Settings: Within the game settings, try changing the resolution to match your monitor's native resolution. Sometimes using the native resolution can help with fullscreen display issues. 4. Adjust Virtual Screen Resolution: You can try adjusting the virtual screen resolution in Windows settings. Right-click on the desktop, select Screen resolution, and adjust the resolution settings there. 5. Check GPU Scaling: If you have an AMD or NVIDIA graphics card, check if GPU scaling is enabled in the graphics card settings. This can sometimes help resolve display scaling issues. 6. Monitor Settings: Make sure your monitor settings are configured correctly. Check the monitor's OSD (On-Screen Display) settings for any scaling options that might be affecting the display. Try these steps and see if any of them help resolve the issue. If the problem persists, let me know so we can explore other solutions.
