Hi guys I've been using win 10 ver1803 for some time now with no issues.
however, after updating to version 1903 my computer doesn't recover from sleep mode, it tries, fails then shuts down and restarts.

Ive updated the grahic drivers etc no help, anyway please see attached screenshot of 'event viewer' screengrab. for clues

I would suggest you go to the safe mode and see if the issue persists.

To go to Safe mode follow the steps below:
a. Click on Windows key, and in the Power Options click on Restart while pressing the shift key.
b. A blue screen will appear with a few options.
Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Settings > Startup Settings > Restart.
c. Your system will automatically restart, press 4 or F4 key to go to the Safe Mode.
If you do not face the same issue in the safe mode, try doing a clean boot

To disable all non-Microsoft services consult the article called Clean Boot.

can you sleep and hibernate in safe mode?

Atomic check failures are not very common. I would start with the common resolutions for any BSOD.

Please verify your drivers and firmware are up-to-date. I would also run a test against memory since many hardware devices don't in fact support sleep they typically power down completely so there are quite a lot of data to memory loads when exiting sleep.

Also upload any .dmp files in C:\Windows\Minidump

You may have an overclocked gpu or cpu so your overclocked gpu or cpu doesnt get the right ammount of voltage that should be because of an power suply is not giving the right voltage that the system needs.
