Windows 7 Desktop Gadgets Not Opening: Is It a Bug or a User Issue?

when i right click my desktop and goto gadgets. nothing happens. is it me? or is it a bug?

Did you disable UAC? If so you must turn it on for gadgets to work.

i did disable uac, thats kinda dumb... we should beable to use gadgets even with uac turned off....

As kyles sticky he posted at the top of the Support site. It is a bug in the beta version and will be fixed in the real version of windows 7.
