Windows 8 Disable Desktop mode in Win 8.1

Is it possible to disable the desktop mode in Windows 8.1??

Not really although if your booting straight to desktop you can change it so that you boot to the Start screen. If you right click the Task Bar, click properties and then look under Navigation.
