Windows 7 dump files + screen + info ?

hi,
I have just been informed by brother that the BSOD happened after "setup.exe" - "googlechromeinstaller" was hogging 99℅ of cpu, in task manager, when for some reason decided to create dump file rather than ending proccess! (he,s a nugget of a boy)
should i uninstall chrome?
also when system boots it sometimes stay up for over an hour, others a few mins and then seems to blue screen once i or norton decides to update and cpu is at 99%
Should i load BIOS defaults as i noticed IRQ levels were mentioned in error message

Regards JQ

You've only got 2 gigs of RAM. IMO 4GB should be a minimum in all systems these days (you know, for when you're gaming or doing big spreadsheets).

PCI Modem This device is disabled.
NETGEAR WG111v2 54Mbps Wireless This device is disabled.
Security Processor Loader Driver This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
For the first two, make sure the devices are enabled, or are completely removed from your system.
For the third, make sure the drivers are present and working, or is completely removed from your computer.

Google Update could be a possible problem - remove it from your startup list (Start Menu > Search: "msconfig" > "Startup" tab).

Thank you GH-II
i'll give the advice a go,1&2 have been disabled for a long time,as this machine (not the Acer laptop in profile but an old
packard bell from 2006) is hard wired to cable router.
Also due to age Mainboard (old Asus P5V-**** Pentium 4 (no HT) @3.6 Ghz, socket 478 ! only supports 2GB RAM :-( -- dont laugh too hard )
If the worst comes, will re-installing W7_Ult on this machine sort this BSOD ??

Regards jq

Hi, GH-II.
I totally agree pc parts do fail in old machines ( but the machine was built 2005, at a time where these components had "i believe better build quality and QC checks" as they had to be reliable, as slates, smartphone, and big flash storage were just around the corner for retail )
However most components have been replaced as the years past, heatsink and fan,GPU, extra case fans, RAM, HDD (slave) its back online and up-time of 18hrs happy days, i only changed the "google updater settings, removed norton and actully downloaded "security processor loader driver"
Regards JQ

Not true. MSI still hand-tests each and every one of their motherboards, and the better ones of each chipset go through rigorous stress testing and overclocking, to make sure they work (yes, they actually do that). Corsair hand-tests all of their RAM sticks and PSU's before they leave the factory. And build quality isn't that bad in 2012/2013 - obviously we've got better products than 7 years ago (which is a very long time for a PC, unless you just use Internet Explorer and Microsoft Word), but most of the people that have a self-built system are still very happy with their computer.

Assuming you've done what I recommended in my first post on this thread - try running your computer normally for a few days (or a week). If you get a BSOD, use the W7F tool one more time (this time grab the minidumps and msinfo32) and attach it to the next post. Sorry (that I don't have my minidump analyzer) for any inconvenience.

If you're having problems with the Security Processor Loader driver - then it's likely that this is the result of damage caused by an infection. Please run a couple of the free scans here to see if they detect anything on your system: Free Online AntiMalware Resources

Your BIOS dates from 2005. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

You have a NETGEAR WG111v2 54Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter
I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices. Especially in Win7/Win8 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7(and I suspect with Win8) - using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win7/Win8 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.
Since it's disabled, please re-enable it and un-install the software - then physically remove the device from the system.

Your PCI Modem is disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?

2 of the 4 memory dumps blame Norton. Please:
Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free anti-virus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- un-install the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free anti-virus, then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- perform a full system scan in order to see if anything has slipped by the malfunctioning Norton.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
