Windows 7 Edit Windows Explorer Properties?

How do you edit Windows Explorer properties?

I was reading Tim Sneath's article and would like to edit Explorer's properties to start from My Computer as opposed to My Libraries.

I have set up explorer to start me in my , downloads folder and documents , pictures , music and my tools folder .........

I did this by opening my libraries with explorer if you wish, then navigate to the folder you want to start with and right click it and drag it onto your taskbar where a label pops up "pin to windows explorer" let that go and its added

to use it simply right click windows explorer on the taskbar and you will have your location as an option to open
