Windows 7 error installing avg antivirus

I'm trying to install AVG antivirus 2015 but I keep getting 2 error,
this one:
(Description: General error (0x0643)
Error code: 0xC0070643).
and the other one is sent as an attachment.

Well as the error states either you already have a newer version installed or you have remnants left over from a previous install.

AVG has really gone down hill in the last few years. If this is the free version I'd consider switching to a different product.

You can try running their uninstall tool to remove anything left over Link Removed

Personally I like Webroot and Cylance. Both are consider next generation protection products which don't rely on signatures, but instead use cloud analytics and AI and both work very well.

I'll better use NOD 32. I did not like AVG while was testing it. You can download the latest version here NOD32 AntiVirus Free Download - Latest Version for Windows . I think it's more stable and functional than AVG. But it's my choice.

Please confirm whether you are trying to install AVG Internet Security unlimited trial version in your PC. If so, please run AVG Clear tool and AVG Remover tool to remove AVG Traces completely using below instructions:
1. Run the AVG Clear tool.
2. Open the AVG Clear tool, click Yes in the User Account control dialog.
3. Click No in the Windows safe mode dialog.
4. Select the installed version of AVG and also check the box 'Uninstall AVG Zen'. Then click Uninstall, and Restart computer.
5. To run AVG remover tool.

To reinstall AVG Internet Security unlimited.

If the issue persists, please share the screenshot to provide better assistance.
