Hello guys,
This is my first thread (and/or post), and I have to say that it is kinda sad to meet you all in this unfortunate situation. But, when I looked for info about this problem, I found that this forum is the place to go.
So, into the problem: I got a BSOD (the first one, that’s why I’m paranoiac) in my laptop. It’s a HP Pavilion dv6 3088la, everything stock (that’s why I don’t attach the CPU-Z memory tabs’ images). The blue screen occurred when Windows was shutting down, and also the system options were configured to auto reboot after the error, so I didn’t watched the details on the BS. When it restarted, the solution finder (if that’s the term in English) window came up, and I saw that the error was related to the kernel power, like the following event details show:
- System
- Provider
[ Name] Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power
[ Guid] {331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4}
EventID 41
Version 2
Level 1
Task 63
Opcode 0
Keywords 0x8000000000000002
- EventData
BugcheckCode 59
BugcheckParameter1 0xc0000005
BugcheckParameter2 0xfffff88001865f69
BugcheckParameter3 0xfffff88002d2fd30
BugcheckParameter4 0x0
SleepInProgress false
PowerButtonTimestamp 0
In the event’s general tab, it says that the system restarted without a clean shut down; but that’s kinda weird, cause I was trying to shut down my computer “the right way”. After the error, I restarted my laptop 3 times, and shut it down and then back on 1 time, without troubles.
I’ve only installed one hardware component recently: an usb keyboard (sidewinder x4). But, if its drivers are the cause for the problem, I must say that those are some crappy drivers (if not, sorry Microsoft).
So, I attach the .dmp file for anyone willing to help me with this error. I want to know the cause, if it’s a serious one, and what measures need to be taken. Thank you in advance for your support and greetings from México.
