Windows 7 Fix: "Windows Desktop Gadgets has stopped working" Error on Desktop

Hi,

While adding gadgets to my desktop getting error message " Windows Desktop Gadgets has stopped working"
Please help me.

Some driver (e.g. Logitech, etc.) could be causing a particular (or all) gadget(s) to fail.

If sidebar gadgets don't start anymore, you may need to Gadgets - Restore Default Gadgets - Windows 7 Forums

Redownload and reinstall any custom (3rd party) gadgets:

With 7 DVD in your drive, Start => type sfc /scannow and wait for the operation to complete. Reboot your PC then.

If it doesn't help, Start => type chkdsk.
