Hello

For the last couple of months my laptop has been freezing, by this i mean i cant do anything and i have to restart the computer using the power button. Recently it has got worse and worse to the point where it freezes on the windows screen meaning i cant even access my desktop at times and also as soon as i insert a USB stick. I feel its a hardware problem as ive completely formatted the laptop numerous times and the problem is still persisting.I had a blue screen about a week ago and it said at the top "USB Faulty" so i feel that one of the usb ports is not working right.

Is there anyway i can eradicate this problem my self or is the best way to get it repaired at a computer store. Also how do i identify that its definitly the usb drive because it also freezes when a pen drive is not inserted, it does it at random times.

these are my laptop specs

    ]Hardware Diagnostics:
    • Use built-in hardware diagnostic tools to check the health of your hardware components, including USB ports.
    []BIOS Update:
    • Consider updating your BIOS to the latest version as outdated BIOS can sometimes cause hardware-related issues.
    [
    ]Heat Management:
    • Ensure your laptop is not overheating as overheating can cause freezes. Clean out any dust from the vents and use a cooling pad if needed.

      Identifying Hardware Issues:

It's important to confirm whether the problem is indeed hardware-related. If the freezing occurs even when no USB devices are connected, it might suggest a broader hardware issue. To help identify the problem:
      • Monitor the temperature of your CPU and GPU to ensure they are not overheating.
      • Test your RAM for any potential faults.
      • Use diagnostic tools to check the health of your hard drive.

Seeking Repair:

If the issue persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, it might be best to have a professional technician inspect your laptop. They can perform more in-depth hardware diagnostics to pinpoint and resolve the issue effectively. Your laptop specifications are as follows:
