I'm attempting to use Windows 7 Ultimate as and FTP server. I have installed the FTP server and it looks like everything is working on the server itself. I can open an ftp session from either command line or through my browser while directly on the host server. When I attempt to connect from another PC on the same internal network (192.168.1.*), I get a connection timeout error. I can ping the host server from my remote client. I have turned off any firewalls on both sides.
I also assigned the ftp host server a static IP address. Any ideas?
