I'm new to this forum,i've searched for solutions and no luck so i came here.

I don't know much about computers,laptops,technology etc...
so if anyone has solution to my problem please explain it slowly and understandably.

My problem:
First time appeared while running steam (Valve product)
I downloaded and installed game (counter strike source). And when i tried to run it i would get an error about Generic PnP Monitor - how it's not installed correctly.
So i tried to fix it,on many ways.
One of them was to fix it with Uniblue DriverScanner.I was happy when i saw in a list of drivers for updating Generic PnP Monitor. So i downloaded driver and i pressed on install,it started creating restore point and then stopped with error message something like this
The driver was not installed corectly so update failed.

Here are pictures (Just in case)

Is this a laptop and do you have a manufacturer and model number? Have you checked the manufacturer for drivers?

Have you check the Intel site for your chipset drivers. There may be just a chipset, or also a video.

This does seem to be an older system... support may be limited, but the Intel site does seem to show Windows 7 drivers.
